The TF50 is nearly everything I was looking for, especially in the core quality and performance. For context, I'm an experienced marathon runner (165 lb, 5'10", run at 7.5-10.5 MPH), so I'm average sized, but pretty demanding on the the performance of a treadmill. A runner friend recommended this, as he's used it for a couple years, and I absolutely agree that it's an excellent treadmill. %0A%0APros:%0A--Build quality. I find this model sturdy enough that I could (nearly) read a book while running. The folding models have less bounce as they are heavier, so I purchased the TF50 over the T50 for this reason. I can really run hard and the console doesn't bounce.%0A--Performance: It speeds up/down quickly, and I can run speed interval workouts like I would do on a track.%0A--Very quiet - I can turn down my headphones, and actually hear my kid's questions when they bug me during a run :)%0A%0ACons%0A--Can't customize workouts, and there aren't a lot of pre-programmed options. %0A--Overall usability of the console. I feel like I'm battling it to see what I want. I'd never use Twitter while running, but I'd love to see more displays of basic running info.

Bought my TF50 XER almost a month ago. Originally purchased the Landice L7 pro trainer and was somewhat unsatisfied with it because of the built and quality. It's because for the same price there's much more I can get from the Matrix TF50 XER. Since after the exchange I'm really loving this treadmill especially the quietness of the motor and the Sprint 8 Program that comes with it. If your budget is around 3-4k take a look at the Matrix TF50 series it's really a good quality modern machine from a good quality tested company.
