High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) is a great way to get the most out of your workouts in the least amount of time.

Typically, a HIIT workout consists of:
  • Short, intense bursts of exercise that is designed to get your heart rate up
  • Longer rests between those bursts to get your heart rate back down
  • 15-30 minute workout sessions, including a warm-up and cool-down period

HIIT workouts can be highly customizable according to how long you want your sessions to be and your fitness level. The specific exercises you choose to do can vary, but you can also easily do a sprint workout on a treadmill or an elliptical. A good indicator that you’re doing HIIT right is if you really feel like you’ve earned those rest periods in between. We’ve provided a list of different HIIT workouts below to get you started!
